East Coast Events in 2026
NOT YOUR TYPICAL CAR SHOW
Here’s the lowdown on this year’s East Coast happenings, where the typical car show has evolved into an event gathering of sand-slingin’ dune buggies and lazy road cruises like it’s one big family reunion.
From seaside beaches to cruisin’ curvy rural country roads, camping excursions and lots of fire-pit chatter – these shows are where you’ll catch fiberglass dreams, classic VW’s, and some of the best of everything that you can experience.
May 14th – 17th
Carlisle, PA: The Import Show at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. With over 2000 vehicles from around the world, Dune Buggies are in full bloom for a long weekend of camping, cruises, fire pits, food, and fun.
May 23rd
Burnsville, NC: A Ride To Mount Mitchell, a buggy cruise to the highest elevation on the East side of the Mississippi – Mount Mitchell, and lots more…Food, Fun, rails, buggies, etc..
June 4th – 7th
Berkshires, MA: Buggies in the Berkshires, a Manx Club only event featuring the back country roads through the quant towns of the Berkshires and surrounding areas. Rides will feature Mt Greylock, the highest point in Massachusetts, and lots more.
June 12th – 14th
Charles Town, WV: Buggies gathering at the annual Dubs & Dogs car show supporting animal rescue. Friday cruises across beautiful West Virginia and a great show on Saturday.
July 11th
Oley, PA: The annual Deutsche Classic all German car show and swap meet. Buggies in attendance rubbing elbows with their brethren. Food, great cars, and parts galore.
Jul 31st – Aug 1st
Pigeon Forge, TN: The 15th Annual Buggy Cruise & Dragon’s Tail. Tail of the Dragon—famous for its 318 curves in just 11 miles. Winding along US 129 in the Great Smoky Mountains. Buggies, Rails, Baja’s all together.
Sept 5th, Weekend
Genevia-on-the-Lake, OH: The annual Bug Infestation car show. A lot of buggies in attendance for a Labor Day weekend of cars cars and more cars. Biggies spend the weekend around checking out and cruising the lakeside sights.
Sept 24th – 27th
New Cumberland, PA: The annual Bugs by the River car extravaganza at ACME Car Company. A long weekend of buggy cruises, camping on-site, shop tours, food, entertainment, etc.
OCT 8th – 10th
Outer Banks, NC: The annual Manx on the Banx, where dozens of buggies from all over cruise the sand and roads of the beach towns and the outer banks. Food, fun, horses, etc. awaits.
October 31, 2026
New Oxford, PA: A VW based car timed rally through rural roads with a lot of local cars, friends, and buggies. Prizes, Food and BBQ afterwards. Hosted by Anthony Getty
