- Lightweight and rigid, with reinforced mounting points
- Designed to fit on an 82″ shortened VW Chassis or our own custom ACME IMP Chassis
- Every body comes standard with the hood fitted and mounted, ready for your build to begin. Made with hand-laid fiberglass and finished in a tough, durable gel coat
🔧 Dune-IMP – the ACME Chassis
The ACME Chassis for the Dune IMP is built and featured identical to the Nostalgia 80″ chassis. Except, the Dune-IMP utilizes an 82″ version of that chassis, 2 inches longer than a standard shortened dune buggy chassis. Click here to see the features of the 80″ Nostalgia Chassis.

Custom Colors as below…if you don’t see the exact color that speaks to you, you’re in good company. Many builders before you have worked with us to create their own one-off color and flake combinations, continuing the long tradition of personalizing a dune buggy until it feels just right.
